3. AI-Specific Data Practices
Given the nature of our Services, we want to be especially transparent about how data is handled in the context of AI agent development and deployment.
3.1 Your Data Never Trains Our Models
Client data provided during AI agent development and deployment is used exclusively for building and operating your custom AI agents. Your business data, customer data, and operational data are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve our internal AI models, the AI models of our technology partners, or any third-party models.
3.2 Zero Data Retention on AI Models
When our AI agents process data on your behalf, no client data is retained by the underlying AI model providers after the processing request is complete. We configure zero data retention policies with all AI model providers we use, including but not limited to Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and open-source model providers deployed via Ollama.
3.3 On-Premise Deployment Option
For clients with strict data sovereignty requirements, we offer on-premise AI agent deployment. In this model, your data never leaves your own servers or private cloud infrastructure. We provide full documentation and configuration to ensure your data remains entirely within your controlled environment.
3.4 Knowledge Base Data
If we build a knowledge base or Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system as part of your AI agent, the data used to populate that knowledge base is stored securely in a dedicated environment (cloud-hosted or on-premise depending on your deployment model). This data is accessible only to your AI agent and authorized personnel. It is never shared with other clients or used for any purpose beyond operating your specific agent.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our Services. These include:
- Hosting Providers: Vercel (website hosting), cloud infrastructure providers for AI agent deployment.
- Payment Processors: For secure payment processing. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their use of your information.
- Analytics Providers: Google Analytics and similar services for understanding website usage patterns.
- Communication Tools: Email service providers for sending service-related communications and marketing emails (with your consent).
All service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes we specify and to protect your data with appropriate security measures.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent fraud or address security issues, or protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
4.3 Business Transfers
If Agents Chef is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
4.4 With Your Consent
We may share your information for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy with your explicit consent.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including:
- Account Information: Retained for the duration of your account or business relationship with us, plus a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping and legal compliance.
- Project Data: Client project files, AI agent configurations, and related deliverables are retained for the duration of the project engagement and any active support retainer. Upon project completion and expiration of any support period, project data is deleted within 90 days unless you request otherwise.
- Communication Records: Emails and support correspondence are retained for up to 3 years for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
